Devil Sister Review

Synopsis and Plot Summary

Devil Sister tells the story of Irin, a beautiful and talented woman. He is also a director in the company Bannasaorn.

Irin is a woman who is angry, and selfish and is nicknamed The Devil because of her character. But behind that, everything Irin did was actually to make her sister, Inn, stronger and loved by the people around her.

On the other hand, Namcha is a veterinarian who has had feelings for Irin for a long time.

In the past, Irin and Namcha had a relationship when they were still in school. However, this relationship did not last long because Irin decided unilaterally and without explanation.

Namcha couldn’t move on from Irin until he graduated from the veterinary faculty, so Namcha and Irin finally met again.

As time went by, Namcha and Irin began to return to romance after being apart for so long. However, Irin’s sister secretly likes Namcha and tries to destroy her brother’s relationship with Namcha.

Namcha and Irin’s relationship, which was rebuilt, is increasingly beset by many problems, from family, and work, to close friends.

Devil Sister Review

This event has too many red flags. The writing is really not good. People hate bad guys but in fact, when you watch this show, the only people that keep the storyline going are the antagonists.

Sure, there were episodes of sweet moments between Namcha and Irin, but those ended up being overshadowed by the way Irin treated Namcha, and when it came to those moments, nothing bad happened after that. I feel they are just going in circles.

Irin, despite being older, doesn’t act mature for her age. He hesitated and could not make up his mind. I find it funny that in the first episode, she fires an employee just because she doesn’t like the scent she smells which exhibits real Karen-like behavior.

I know some women are hard to please in real life and difficult to understand, but strong, educated, and successful women like how they describe Irin shouldn’t be.

Namcha isn’t funny. He stalked her, followed her around, and shone a light on everyone for his love for her. I get it, unconditional love, of course. But that unconditional love will be your downfall if you don’t take care of it.

Other than that, I didn’t find any redeemable qualities in Irin that would make me give her unconditional love the way Namcha did. The sister needed psychiatric help. He has suicidal thoughts and he is volatile.

Irin should have seen that instead of trying to protect her. You’re supposed to be the smart one here and he looks up to you. The character has flaws, but I’m okay with that.

The only thing that’s good here is the acting the cast and the chemistry of the main cast. That is the best thing in this drama as far as I have seen. The supporting cast also does their job very well. Other than that, it may still be lacking.

Overall it’s not a great drama in terms of storyline and plot, but it’s worth watching. I won’t rewatch it because there’s too much to watch. Devil Sister skor 6,5/10
