Derailment Chinese Drama Ending Explained

Derailment Chinese drama has a happy ending. In the final moments of the episode, Qi Lian learns that Jiang Bo recently met with Fan Xiaoxiao, hoping to capture her words about the test cabin.

Despite Jiang Bo’s reluctance to assist, Qi Lian emphasizes that it’s the only way to thwart Fan Xiaoxiao and save Jiang Xiaoyuan. Reluctantly, Jiang Bo complies, but their plan is foiled when Fan Xiaoxiao discovers Jiang Bo’s intentions and manipulates Jiang Xiaoyuan’s trust in him.

Using Jiang Bo’s phone, Fan Xiaoxiao lures Jiang Xiaoyuan into a trap under the guise of a makeup assignment. Sensing danger, Jiang Xiaoyuan contacts Qi Lian, and the two rush to the designated location.

However, they find themselves in an empty square with suspicious activity. Before they can react, Jiang Xiaoyuan is injected with a tranquilizer, causing her to collapse.

Qi Lian investigates but finds no sign of the promised studio. With Jiang Xiaoyuan missing and fearing for her safety, Qi Lian is also taken captive.

Fan Xiaoxiao’s assistant captures both Jiang Xiaoyuan and Qi Lian, much to Fan Xiaoxiao’s frustration. Despite the risk, Fan Xiaoxiao insists on removing Jiang Xiaoyuan’s chip within 24 hours to accelerate her mental breakdown.

However, Jiang Xiaoyuan hasn’t reached the critical stage yet, rendering the chip’s data useless. Undeterred, Fan Xiaoxiao decides to subject Jiang Xiaoyuan, Qi Lian, and Jiang Bo to further experiments in the laboratory.

Amidst the chaos, Fan Xiaoxiao resorts to violence, causing Jiang Xiaoyuan and Qi Lian great distress. Jiang Bo pleads for mercy, but Fan Xiaoxiao remains ruthless.

In a desperate attempt to protect Jiang Xiaoyuan, Qi Lian confronts Fan Xiaoxiao, leading to a struggle. Fortunately, the police arrive in time to rescue them.

As Qi Lian undergoes surgery, he urges Jiang Xiaoyuan to fulfill her dream of participating in the competition. Despite the challenges, Qi Lian’s resilience shines through, earning respect even from the steadfast Jiang Bo. With Fan Xiaoxiao’s reign of terror over, Jiang Bo’s life takes a positive turn.

In the aftermath, Jiang Xiaoyuan cherishes moments with her loved ones, including Qi Lian reconciling with his father. Empowered by their experiences, Jiang Xiaoyuan and Qi Lian embrace the future together, knowing that they can overcome any obstacle with their unwavering support for each other.

Derailment Chinese Drama Review

This drama offers a unique blend of various genres and vibes. It seamlessly weaves elements of mystery, everyday life, and romance into its storyline, creating an engaging and dynamic viewing experience.

At its core, the story follows the journey of the female lead, who finds herself in a parallel universe after a car accident, while also seemingly time-traveling from 2025 to 2018. Together with the male lead, who knows her alternate self, they delve into the mystery surrounding her identity and how she ended up in 2018.

In the first five episodes alone, the drama captivates with its compelling narrative, earning a solid 9/10 rating. The mix of excitement and anticipation it evokes is reminiscent of the feeling of butterflies in the stomach, making it a must-watch despite any negative comments.

The drama expertly balances between lighthearted moments and darker, more angsty ones, ensuring a rollercoaster ride of emotions for viewers. It boasts several plot twists that keep you guessing, along with sizzling chemistry between the leads that adds depth to their relationship.

On the positive side, the drama is lauded for its lack of plot holes, strong character development, stunning cinematography, and top-notch acting, particularly from the female lead. The portrayal of mental distortions is executed skillfully, adding layers of complexity to the story.

However, some viewers noted that the later episodes focused too heavily on the female lead’s career and certain side characters, leading to pacing issues. Additionally, there was a desire for more cute romance moments between the main leads.
