Synopsis and Plot Summary

Gu Chengtao sent his men to capture Haoyue, unaware that Haoyue had set up an ambush. Just as the Qing Emperor’s life hung in the balance, Gu Yanxi swooped in and saved him just in time, earning a relieved smile.
Qisu Si swiftly quelled the rebellion and apprehended Haoyue. Gu Yanxi credited Hua Zhi for uncovering the crucial clue that led to this success.
Haoyue confessed his origins from the State of Zhao and his tragic past, fueling his desire for revenge. Despite Gu Chengtao’s disdain, Hua Zhi explained that she intervened to prevent further chaos and bloodshed between the Qing and Zhao.
However, the situation took a dire turn when Gu Chengtao suddenly fell ill and collapsed. It was revealed that Haoyue had conspired with King Hui to poison him.

Whether they’re being cute together or facing challenges apart, their connection is palpable. What’s even more refreshing is the strong communication and trust they have, which makes their love story all the more enduring and heartwarming.
But it’s not just the main couple that steals the show; the other relationships are equally captivating. From budding romances to bittersweet endings, each storyline tugs at your heartstrings in its own way.
